Golf Balls Galore, all of the golf balls that we sell are
guaranteed playable and without cuts. Selection occurs
strictly on a cosmetic scale in 4 categories - color/paint;
shine/brightness; user markings; and scuffs/scratches.
Generally speaking, the better looking the ball, the higher
the grade. It is important to note that we do not grade any
ball above its lowest rating. For example, a ball may have
the color and shine rating of a Pearl ball yet have a minor
blemish from hitting a tree before landing in the pond the
first time it was used. Depending on the severity of that
blemish, the ball could be rated Tournament if minor,
Players if moderate, or Economy if it is a larger blemish.
Even in our Economy grade, you can find real gems. |

General
Grading Statements
- Corporate
or club logos are not considered as user markings or as
a deterrent to the cosmetic value of a golf ball. You
may find a corporate or club logo on any grade of ball
that we sell.
- You
will never find a cut in any of the balls that we sell.
All of our balls are playable. A cut ball is considered
unplayable.
- User
markings are kept to a minimum. One or two black dots
under the name are considered a minimal user mark. Rest
assured that you will never receive a ball that has been
used as a canvas for someone's creative instincts.
- Scuffs
and scratches are also kept to a minimum. Cart paths,
trees, and other abrasive surfaces can cause sratches to
the cover of a golf ball. Like all blemishes, the scuff
can be slight or severe. If the scuff or scratch is
extremely large or it tears into the cover of the ball,
it won't qualify for any of our grades.
- Color
is crucial in the grade of a ball. Color (shade of
white) varies by brand and can grow darker from a
variety of environmental influences. While the shades
may vary slightly, you will find consistency in all of
our packages except Economy Select where the shades of
white are mixed. We never sell any "brown"
golf balls.
- Shine
is also influenced by a variety of factors. Golf Balls
Galore does not sell a "dull" or
"flat" golf ball. Even our Economy Select
grade shines.
